Our creative team is made up of marketing strategists, documentary filmmakers and online experts who care about social and environmental issues, and support values-driven businesses through storytelling.
Mischa Hedges | Chief Storyteller
Mischa brings over a decade of experience producing and editing award-winning documentaries, commercials and web video to Trimtab Media. His background as a director and editor blends down-to-earth storytelling and tech savvy – a dynamic combo that is hard to find and fun to work with. Mischa holds an MBA in Sustainable Business from Dominican University’s GreenMBA program.
Mischa grew up exploring the woods of Mendocino, California and selling produce at his family’s farmers market booth. He walks his talk – biking to work and subscribing to a weekly CSA box full of local fruits and veggies. When he’s not helping brands tell their stories with video, he’s outside – running, biking, hiking and swimming.
Iliani Matisse | Story Producer
After over 20 years producing award-winning national advertising campaigns, and writing direct marketing content, documentaries and television series, Iliani felt compelled to bring her experience to work on behalf of environmentally and socially responsible business. She is known for providing leadership and calm in the face of chaos, and for forging partnerships among diverse personalities – and is a steadfast collaborator in the creative, production and post process.
Iliani lives in Sebastopol, CA where she has a small, thriving, seasonal garden, and 16 fruit and nut trees that promise healthy, sustainable eating for years to come. She telecommutes two days a week and shops the local farmers markets to support local growers.
